A beautiful dug condition enlisted mans Pattern 1826 U.S. Eagle Breast Plate. This plate has a smooth surface face with a Chocolate brown patina, a solid edge with no cuts or pieces missing.  Retains the all of its lead filling and the iron loops on the back. This plate can be refrenced to Plate #453 in O'Donnell and Campbells book. The overall conditioned would rate as Excellent for a dug plate.
