A very beautiful example of a 19th century era powder horn from Alamance County, North Carolina. The horn is in excellent condition with no damage or cracks. It has a very unique personal touch, with three snakes on its side in black paint and a Star inside a circle of red paint. Scratched into the back of the horn is the letters “N C”. This powder horn was found in Alamance County, NC. A very unique piece and a excellent addition to collectors of NC items!
