Original Confederate “Standard” Frame Buckle measuring 62x70mm. This buckle was a issued buckle to the enlisted soldier’s of the confederate army. It’s in dug condition, but has a very dark blackish patina to it. It’s a beautiful complete Confederate buckle of the common soldier. This buckle matches the description of Plate #173 in “Confederate Belt Buckles and Plates” by Steve Mullinax.
